Don’t have much time in Beijing but want to get the most out of your stay? Look no further than this tour. From the Great Wall to the Summer Palace to Beijing’s famous parks, this tour of Beijing is unlike any other in that it is extremely active and gets you involved with locals in and out of their homes. We know that your time is limited, and you don’t want to feel like a fly on the wall during your stay, so this tour offers plenty of opportunities to get you out of your hotel room so that you can experience what Beijing has to offer. We hope after joining this tour you’ll be able to say that you’ve made new friends in Beijing as well as seeing some interesting sites.

| Day 1 | Arrival in Beijing. After lunch check into hotel in Hou Hai area of Beijing. Explore the Hou Hai area, visiting a local produce market and outdoor bazaar. | Day 2 | In the morning rise up with the locals to visit Jingshan Park. Climb to the top and get an excellent view of the surrounding area (including Forbidden City). Afterwards visit Forbidden City and Tian’anmen Square. In the afternoon we’ll head towards the Olympic Park (Bird’s Nest and Water Cube), enjoying the night scenery. | Breakfast Lunch and Dinner | Hotel near Hou Hai | Walk to Jingshan park. | Day 3 | “You’re not a true man until you climb the Great Wall.” Today is the day you pass your rites of passage, as we conquer the Jinshanling and Simatai portions of the Great Wall. We’ll hike for about 4 hours from one section to the next. In the evening you’ll have your aches and pains worked on by a professional blind masseuse. | Breakfast, Lunch (light picnic on the Great Wall), and Dinner | Hotel near Hou Hai | Private car to Great Wall |
| Day 4 | In the morning we’ll visit the renowned Summer Palace, most famous for being Princess Dowager Cixi’s base for entertaining distinguished guests. After lunch, we’ll start the afternoon’s physical activities. In the afternoon get ready for a crash course in diabolo. Join locals for an unforgettable afternoon of chatting and learning in the park. Afterwards, we will go to another park in the evening for yet another crash course, this time with the lightning quick nunchakus. | Day 5 | This is the final day to get that last minute shopping in. For those of you who want to bring back something typically Chinese for your friends and family, we’ll accompany you to “Panjiayuan,” a huge outdoor bazaar filled with antiques and oddities. In the evening, after dinner, we host a Language Corner in our offices with you as the special guest of honor.
